World Champion and 4x Olympian Allison Schmitt has joined the SURGE team as the program’s honorary Chief Empowerment Officer. After a seasoned career at the professional and collegiate level, Schmitt earned her master’s degree in social work and has a passion to educate and empower young female athletes. She understands the pressures young girls face and will contribute to program content designed to help prioritize well-being both in and out of sport.
Super Bowl Champion, Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer and all-time leading receiver, Donald Driver, has joined Team SURGE. As the passionate founder of the Driven Flag Football , Donald is known for his relentless drive both on and off the field. He now channels his energy into empowering the next generation, with a special focus on young female athletes.
Donald brings his heart for mentorship, his firsthand experience as a girl dad, and his commitment to empowering female athletes to SURGE. Through his leadership and advocacy, he is helping to shape a future where every girl in sports has the support she needs to rise.
Nancy Lieberman, a two-time Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer , two-time Olympian, Big3 Head Coach and the president/founder of Nancy Lieberman Charities, has proudly joined the SURGE team as a SURGE ambassador. With her extensive basketball career, Lieberman brings a wealth of experience and insight into the unique challenges faced by both coaches and athletes.
