World Champion and 4x Olympian Allison Schmitt has joined the SURGE team as the program’s honorary Chief Empowerment Officer. After a seasoned career at the professional and collegiate level, Schmitt earned her master’s degree in social work and has a passion to educate and empower young female athletes. She understands the pressures young girls face and will contribute to program content designed to help prioritize well-being both in and out of sport.
Super Bowl Champion, Green Bay Packers Hall of Famer and all-time leading receiver, Donald Driver, has joined Team SURGE. As the passionate founder of the Driven Flag Football , Donald is known for his relentless drive both on and off the field. He now channels his energy into empowering the next generation, with a special focus on young female athletes.
Donald brings his heart for mentorship, firsthand experience as a girl dad, and commitment to equity in sports to SURGE. Through his leadership and advocacy, he is helping to shape a future where every girl in sports has the support she needs to rise.
